Antique dealer Angelika Elliott hand picks decorative and antique items from France, where they are shipped back to Australia then passed on to craftsmen, restorers and artisans. All pieces are inspected then either restored to their former grandeur using traditional finishes and materials, or cleaned and waxed before being passed on to collectors and interior decorators.
Classic Lines International Pty Ltd endeavours to describe all pieces as accurately as possible so clients can rest assured they have purchased an item that is not only in good condition, but will provide years of pleasure.
Furniture restored by Classic Lines International Pty Ltd is carried out by qualified craftsmen & tradesmen using traditional methods to give decades of pleasure to future generations.
Any items that are deemed structurally unsound are dismantled to their component pieces and reglued using modern adhesives.
Any items that have been stripped & polished have been finished using shellac (French polish) & waxed. Therefore care should be taken on surfaces not to apply fluids such as alcohol, water or excessive heat, if spills occurs fluid should be cleaned up immediately.
Regular waxing of items using a silicon free wax will keep pieces in excellent condition for years to come.

Due to the nature of timber, imperfections are part of the character of the pieces purchased and Classic lines International Pty Ltd does not take any responsibility for cracking, movement, spills, timber variation or general deterioration due to regular use.
Care should be taken not to place items over or near central heating ducts as this can cause excessive temperature variation that may cause damage.
Measurements are taken from external extreme dimensions and are in the metric system.
